Lilac Solutions CEO David Snydacker gave an interview on CNN, please find the video at the below link. Lake Resources was also mentioned, and the Kachi project as well, with a picture of the pilot plant during construction.

This is another great exposure after the Time Magazin. CNN has a lot of viewers.

A special thanks to @Mozza01, he prepared the below summary about the video:

"A few key takeaways from the interview are outlined below:
    - Lake Resources and the Kachi project both specifically mentioned. Great exposure.
    - Pilot scheme with Bolivian Govt. also mentioned
    - Others have shown some success with the process of DLE but they haven’t been commercially viable…..until Lilac.
    - Advantages over ponds and Aluminium Absorbents….much less land and much less fresh water
    - David addresses the critics saying that the process “may work well in the lab but not in the field”.
    - Lilac have completed >20,000 hours of continuous operation with Kachi brine showing that the technology works.

The thing I liked most was the discussion around the “skeptics” and the JCap Short Report….specifically, the allegation that the Lake Resources plant is based on Lilac DLE that they say doesn’t work, is too costly to run and uses too much fresh water. David’s response to this was telling. He was grinning like a Cheshire Cat at the suggestions made by JCap and refuted the claims made by the skeptics and JCap. He mentioned that Lilac had tested more brines and completed more hours of test work than anyone else in the industry. They have tested more than 60 brines from all over the world and have completed tens of thousands of hours of testing at both bench and pilot scale out in the field. He reminded us that Kachi is Lilac’s SECOND Demo Plant. He was highly confident and stated so.

David also stated that others out there have made bold announcements but their performance hasn’t held up over time….whereas Lilac’s does. They have proven high Lithium recoveries, high selectivities and they have maintained performance over time at low cost using far less water…..all proven by exhaustive test work based on real brines.

All of the discussion very much dispells a lot of the FUD being pushed by a select few on these threads.

Pretty compelling if you ask me. I recommend watching the clip and gauging the level of confidence for yourself."

Here's a summary about the video from the link I posted:

CNN: Green Energy Transition – Finding Ways to Extract Lithium for Batteries

Lilac Solutions CEO Dave Snydacker spoke live with CNN’s Julia Chatterly live on “First Move”. Dave discussed the essential role of lithium in the EV supply chain, Lilac’s technology, and the Kachi brine project in Argentina.
