If we look at all the news regarding Bill Gates' involvement. All the purpose of this cash injection was to expand the engineer team and increase the scale of application. Nothing mentioned regarding research or advancing the process. This actually means that process itself and its results are very convincing. therefore I would assume the results of the pilot plant test to be positive. All we need is more market exposure.
There has been numerous mentioning that luxury German brands like BMW or Mercedes are very concern of their source material as they would not accept bad image of African resources. The world's first application of green extracting technology would be a success if it can have some the big names listed as customers.
Steve has an impressive resume of financial funding experience. I would assume he has the know-how and connections to make it work.
