MJS - maybe instead of saying "we are confident that the CE mark will issue in July", he could say somethingh like:
"At this stage, we are led to understand that the CE mark will issue sometime during the course of July, however, we cannot be definitive about the timing, as it is predominantly in the hands of the Notified Body. We will keep investors updated as the process unfolds" or something like this.
There doesnt have to be a choice between giving a time frame and not giving any. It's simply about the choice of words and the message you want to convey. Pity the poor investors who hung on until the end of June/July because of SM's confgident asurances but were then forced to sell. SM should not make statements that give greater assurance than he realistically can give.
