Scotty , I share your sentiments and have kids and grandkids I fear for.
However that does not alter the protection this asset class has and the dependency all levels of govt have on this asset to raise revenue.
Until the tax regime alters totally, until govt assumes the role of providing govt housing , albeit inefficient, nothing will change and it will remain a protected species.
