Posting from the UK re AIM market and available OEX shares.
From 16:15 onwards the only OEX buy quote I could get on line was for a maximum of 15k at 8.75p. I duly bought that amount at 16:27 (3 minutes before close) more to see if the price would then tick upwards than anything. It didn't. What happened from that point onwards was a total lock out on being able to purchase more. I worked the buy amount in decrements down to 1k and still could get any more OEX shares on line. What this will mean going forward I do not know but it is extremely rare that my broker is unable to offer me shares on line.
To re-iterate, there were no more available OEX shares at any price for the last few minutes of the day.
