I just see bots working overtime; i have done small experiments over the last couple of weeks; The way i experimented was if the buys and sells were 150K shares each at lets say 38 and 38.5; then the moment i put a 50K shares buy order at 38c, then shortly afterwards the sell side gets either increased by roughly 50K shares or buy side gets reduced by 50K shares thereby making buy and sell side roughly equal again; i dont know what that process acheives though.
