A trading halt should ideally be called BEFORE the opening of trading, given the leak.
The regulator (when does ASIC takeover?) won't look kindly on a mid day trading halt given that the news has leaked, assuming of course that it's correct....otherwise another "not quite yet" clarification should be made by Linc.
