Except that marketing isn't about waiting until the planets come into alignment, marketing facilitates their alignment (only faster and bigger).
Let's say there are "x" people currently following tiny Lindian in tiny Australia. Given the worldwide significance of Kangankunde, even a small international marketing campaign into US/UK/Japan/South Korea/EU could easily have 100 times "x" now following Lindian; so, when more good news comes out, it will spread much faster and further than it would by "waiting".
Simples (if you know what you are doing?).
