G'day.
Here's some not-so-light reading for your Sunday evening.
What I've attempted to do is, and starting with Ooyala, create something of a path showing where Linius is interconnected with various other co's, then add some info about each.
Feel free to offer comment or criticism on any points covered.
I'm not qualified to offer commentary, so I've kept my opinions or commentary to a minimum. Both are highlighted in bold.
Worth noting is, many of the news articles linked are very recent.
Very. Something is baking in Amsterdam and I don't mean #cookies.
Additionally, I've dropped in any other interesting tidbits discovered along the research route. See the Tidbits section.
I will say one thing, the big surprise in all this has been the appearance of Telstra as a central player. It seems Telstra is pivotal to many things LNU. I don't recall TLS having any equity in LNU, but it appears VVE could be financially in TLS's interest to support LNU any way possible. Could they have taken part in the $10m CR earlier this year?

Disclaimer:
There's a very good chance there's nothing in any of this, that these intersections are all just coincidences or conspiracies so take everything here with a grain of all IMO & DYOR.
Anyhoo, look past my lack of technical aptitude and enjoy the research enthusiasm. 'Cos it's all a part of the LNU story.
Cheers & GLTAH

P.s. I don't believe in coincidences.

How do clients, specifically in sports, get integrated when they agree to partner with you, and how does it impact their streaming experiences?
Usually, the first phase for these folks is to get it up and running: let’s have what we have running, just more efficiently. As we look to the second and third phase, that’s where we start to do some really interesting things, like bringing in a stats feed, doing more
automated generation of highlights, or sending content over to Microsoft’s Video Indexer and doing
automated tagging of athletes and plays [highlighting mine - M]
