Scoping & Technical Management is already budgeted for $950K as is the DFS Studies $1.2m.
To ensure their overall influence, Hawke's Point will have their own director on the Board of Directors.
These are important and reassuring moves by HP that will benefit the company and shareholders.
HPs confidence in the exploration model and Rox geos is a positive. We can also have faith in the exploration going forward,
AP had planned to recruit specialist staff to oversee the Scoping and Tech Management and the DFS so these are areas the company lacks existing expertise in.
The HP member of the technical steering committee will be internationally world class and will likely be overseeing (if not organising) the new team. We can be confident that Scoping and Tech Management and the DFS will be executed to the highest standards and quickly.
The addition of a HP member to the Board is also a positive.
That will grow the Board to 4 members and, in effect, HP will have a veto on decisions and will wield the same power as Alex.
IMO the Board has been too AP dominated after the resignation of Brett Dickson, the member with the most board experience.
As Rox moves forward to designing and building the new Youanmi mine we will see Hawke's Point involvement at each step.
