It looks to me like the sh*t has hit the fan today over at TNG regarding their processing of waste water that was going to get discharged near Darwin. There were a lot of unhappy posters over there today, several saying they had had enough of bad management at TNG, and selling out. I'm not familiar with the TNG technologies but I'd agree that our (TMT) plans for Yarrabubba seem a lot simpler and will have a cheaper capex. Perhaps there's no point in making Yarrabubba too complicated and trying to reduce production costs because Yarra will only have a ~7 year LOM. (I think TNG plans for a 37 year LOM). Better that TMT spends capex money to facilitate low production costs for V production at **anintha because it would be worthwhile over a >22 year LOM. Lets hope any unhappy TNG investors discover the better prospects to be had as TMT investors (and seems highly likely TMT will be in production first)
All IMHO, DYOR
