If they are indeed talking, nothing may materialise. ADO are looking at multiple reader platforms.
This particular company are targeting India to begin with (found out they also have a new office in Singapore). A cheap android would suffice, especially for a doctor in more remote/poor regions. You can pick one up for <$40 AUD. A 2nd hand one would be dirt cheap and I'm pretty sure that you can run phones plugged in without a battery. So this particular reader would be suitable for poor countries that may not be willing to invest in a EuGeni reader.
If something does happen here, I don't think it'll involve covid. More likely Sepsis.
