But I would point out that a company's corporate culture is integral to its success.
Just ask The Star Pty Ltd.
The review of that company under the Casino Control Act 1992 focussed heavily on the company's corporate culture.
In fact the term "culture" appears 144 times in the Review of the Star Pty Ltd.
And you are no doubt aware, Wassa, that The Star Pty Ltd isn't a government department.
Furthermore Wassa, due diligence is undertaken by a company involved in a material acquisition, merger or investment. If a company failed to undertake due diligence, and the outcome was negative, it would possibly result in a D&O Insurance claim.
Just setting the record straight for you Wassa.
PS Wassa - you may have heard the saying "the fish rots from the head". Nothing is more true Wassa. Because corporate culture starts at the top.
