We’re excited to share that lastSunday 4 February, we fired our first production stope at the Chesney Main Lenssince taking ownership of the Peak Mine in 2017.
This news follows our recent announcement about the success of the ChesneyNorth drilling program in which every drill hole completed deliveredsignificant intersections of copper, with many also returning meaningfulintersections of gold.
Chesney will help maintain our copper feed and contribute to our FY24 copperguidance. Looking ahead, it will also form a part of our production portfolioat Peak through to at least 2027.
A big shout out to our Peak Geology, Maintenance and Mining Teams for theirincredible work leading up to this firing. The work included: understanding thelogistics to get to the stope, the installation of power and ventilation to thearea of the mine, rehabilitation of the access level, and final stope design.
