You are best download Virtual Box, it creates a vritual computers, where you can allocate ram/cpu and disk space to each one, then install different OS's in it.
Thats typically how i use linux, that way i can keep windows, and just spool up a linux machine on teh fly if i need to use something in it..
you can also use it to run windows inside your linux which is better than using Wine as you have real windows then..
