You talk discount on discount. Many of us don't like FEES on FEES either.

You also lose control over what you invest in with funds, often end up partly in cash, managers get poor stock selection, or poor timing, are ot so nimble as individuals in the market etc. Also tax. Hard to control tax when funds take a profit.

Much easier just to pick your own stocks imo.

Discl: Sold a third of my AGM today, now free carried. Need some cash for the mid year bargains.
