well I have written to the Takeover Panel today, I told them that as far as I was concerned,

(a) the bid from Zinifex should be considered closed, since they did not extend it before the closing time and
(b) Zinifex now own LST's shares.

It is ABSURD that they can extend the bid after it has closed.

Geez people forget quickly. What about that fiasco with the hedge fund queering the Qantas bid by trying to accept too late.

Where would Allco and AEP be today ?
