The canny Chinese are starting to catch on that paper money is about as valuable as toilet paper now Central Banks around the world, including Australia, are engaging in a big paper-money-print in a desperate bid to save their well paid skins.
This will not work. A problem of too much debt cannot be solved by yet more debt. Can't happen.
Gold is the answer and the Chinese know it. They are buying more gold, not iron ore,coal, or Sydney real estate for that matter. The gigs up.
Next time round the Chines will be buying world-class PNG gold miners. Let's hope by then GOA finds where all the gold is coming from at Crater Mt and we have something serious to sell them.
