They capitalise $14.1m (after tax) of software costs and then write them off below the line as a significant item. Perhaps they should have taken these costs in the P&L in the first place. These costs have never seen the light of day in the normalised P&L when spent nor when written off. Management trying to make the normalised profit growth look better than it is.
