In these types of proposed reactors, Li is used in the construction of the containment vessel. Hydrogen isotopes remain the fuel. What’s more, when using fusion (vs chemical or even fission energy) you really don’t need much fuel.
PLS uprampers seem to be getting more and more far fetched. SP6 prices won’t be effected at all by demand from these reactors (even if they can get them up).

If the technology works, it’ll be clean power that’s available 24/7. So it could perhaps eventually provide cheap/green electricity to charge Li batteries. I don’t think EVs etc will be waiting around for it tho!
