Based on the numbers involved from MIN (AUD$1.3b Cash on hand + AUD$1.7b Unsecured Notes), and removing the agreed debt (AUD$188m) means they have about AUD$2.8b cash available. And assuming 1.5bilion A40 Shares outstanding.
Without adding additional part payment in MIN shares (which I wouldn't mind), this would give our absolute top limit.
This would give us a value somewhere between $0.00 and $2.00 per A40 share at the limits.
What does "$1 billion" and "several hundred million" mean? Sounds to me like somewhere between $200m and $1bil. Or approximately between 13c and 66c per A40 share. Shall we split the difference and say around 28c per share?
What is it likely to be? I have no idea. Can someone fix my math? Clearly I have no idea what I'm doing.
