I wouldn't pay too much attention to those 2 guys in Money of Mine channel, they are simply 2 interviewers frequently change their tune after the interviews.
Sound like 2 gardeners trying to talk something big beyond their knowledge.

Re MinRes raising US$850m... this is not necessarily a coincidence, the new fund could well for asset aquisation, but again not necessarily only for Bald Hill.

All of these are just guessing, nothing certain until we see the detail of the offer.
