It is as I understand it, the liquidators role is to proceed with the sale and finalisation but only after the administrator gets the green light as to the preferred course by the creditors. Until then it isn't in liquidation anyway. The administrator can allow people, as part of their due diligence to see the books, kick the tyres, and test the attitude of required key staff toward moving across and securing their commitment if the green light favours their proposal. The expertise of key Newsat in running the proposed purchase is pivotal to the decision as to whether to buy that item at all. Without the expertise the item would have to be devalued accordingly but they cannot make any more than a decision in principle until the creditors meeting confirms the course to be taken.

As for the nostalgia attached to out investment, how could there not be after so many years of believing in it. That is the biggest problem we have MA - facing reality and accepting that our dream is worth nothing now.

Talking for myself, I could not see past Newsat 7 years ago after much DYOR and saw no reason why I shouldn't steadily build my holding over the coming years, sitting back trying to work out how to best spend the money in a comfortable retirement. Everywhere I looked there were graphs showing our progress, comparison figures linking us to Avanti, announcements from Newsat dripping in hope and success stories, the media getting on board with very positive stories, the economy and specifically LNG and mining sectors looking at our services, large forward contract signed up, analysts reports showing $2, $2.50, and $5.00 SP projections. One even showed $10. How could I go wrong.I couldn't!

Even getting "intelligence" from those in the right places to know what they were talking about to "get out now", "this is going to tank", etc. couldn't surely be right. This stock is brilliant! So they were right and now I would have egg on my face if I could afford an egg.

A long time back I saw the writing on the wall for AB and the Board and vehemently said so and thereafter constantly campaigned for their removal but I still believed 110% in Newsat itself. So that is why it is now so hard to face the reality that I was the only one [well along with a lot of other duped shareholders] who saw it that way. To truly believe in it to now find nobody else sees it as more now than an opportunity to pick up a few bits and pieces off the factory floor is hard to get my head around and come to terms with. How could I have been so wrong? Whole thing is, I wasn't. It was all there. The only problem was at the top. That will [and must] have its day.

In the meantime I have to let go of the little Aussie battler because I have had to come to terms with the fact that the people at the top weren't interested in my dream, only theirs.

The final word comes from your last MA. Could there be a final twist????

    Nahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
