    PNG is littered with extremely large scale Gold Mines.

    They all started off as 1-3Million oz Gold mines, then as they were drilled out, they significantly grew in size!




    Mt Kare it sits on the Rim of Fire and Mt Kare sits right on the Papuan Fold Belt where the Australasian Plate Meets the Eurasion plate, which allows these massive tectonic events to take place.
