Thank you for the response.
Is the Hela/Enga border you refer to a border like in between Aussie states (simply drawn on a map so to speak)?
If so, it would have nothing to do with traditional landowner borders. These could be creeks, sacred burial sites, hills, valleys etc. I'm feeling this could be the real issue.
Puzzling though, there has to be more to it than just asking the local landowners who has any RIGHT to any part of Mt. Kare or this issue would have been resolved years ago.
Also apologies to long term IDC holders. I'm sure this issue has been discussed at great length previously.
An unpopular court ruling will only invite axes, machetes, bow and arrows and fighting between the tribes. I guess we will find out in due course.
