Not sure what you are on about? LiFePo4 battery (using Lithium) vs LI-S battery, using, guess what, Lithium. Low Lithium price surely benefits both?
And if you believe the spin, supposedly LI-S batteries are more energy dense, so weight to energy ratio is supposedly far superior.
So in my mind the price of lithium has no bearing on the value of the end product. Happy to be enlightened?
