A bit of a snapshot from 2020 til now

Then - Mega funded Li Sulphur battery players had mastered all but the formation and growth dentrite growth that have the risk of creating a short circuit within the battery
Now- BNNT and Nanomesh have created the perfect isolator between layers. This has been discivered through 10 years of Deakin research

Then- Issue with how many cycles can be acheived with Li Sulphur batteries. Once dentrite growth kicks in after as little as 20 cycles, the battery is dead
Now- LIS has proven 1200> Cycles over a long period of time with their early test cells. There hasnt been an update with the newly developped batteries. In the AGM they mentioned that they are capable of TOO MANY cyles. One would assume that the weight and material cost could be brought down to cater for the end user requirement

Then- BNNT was available in small quantities worldwide at $1m USD a kg making it exclusive to research quantities
Now- PPK and BNNT division managed to IP a method of making BNNT at a much lower temperature and have brough the cost from 500k to 200k to now less that 100k per kg. No real cost for LIS batteries has ever been comprehesively broken down versus otehr technologies but one would assume they are fine tuning down to a point where they will know if the market can afford it!
