You could do all ASX stocks as QT supports about 1200? in one portfolio, but when you transpose the ASX codes into a row for copying and adding, a typical spreadsheet row has only 256 columns, hence the reason why I always watch 256 stocks in QT. To get all ASX codes into a portfolio would require multiple copy, transpose, copy and paste actions on 256 stocks at a time. Maybe there is a quicker way but why bother when 256 securities provides enough liquidity. I normally watch the 256 stocks with the most dollar volume.
