I'm following Quantum Resources' (I'm a shareholder) projects in northern Australia with interest. The Gardiner Range unconformity appears to be of some geological significance:
From ORM's announcement on the 15th of September: "Recent interest in HREE?s in the north Tanami region has been encouraged by the work of Northern Uranium Ltd (ASX:NTU) on its examination of quartz-xenotime veins and the Gardiner Range unconformity to the north of Killi Killi Hills. The Killi Killi Hills mineralization confirms the prospectivity of the area and NTU?s discovery may be indicative of the type of feeder zone or source of the concentrated pervasive mineralization which has so far been observed."
From QUR's website:
"The Gardner Range project tenement, which includes the Mt Mansbridge uranium prospect, has been granted. The proposed exploration activities are intended to investigate the nature of base metal mineralisation associated with the unconformity between the Killi Killi Beds and the Mid-Proterozoic Gardiner Sandstone."
