I've compiled a list of forex/cfd brokers I've used here in OZ - and I've used a few. Here are the top 3 I found:
1) IG Markets - a very stable and easy to use platform. You can trade forex very easily through the popup window at the top and I find that IG Markets has the best support and help line of all the brokers. They also have a stable presence and often present at share trading / forex roadshows promoting their system.
2) Plus 500 - these guys have come a long way since their original introduction in Oz. This probably is due to them now becoming a listed company in the UK. Of all the three this is probably the easiest platform to learn. Also easily accessible to android and Iphone devices. Some very lucrative bonuses are also available. You get $30 just for signing up. They also have bonus deposits for depositing in certain amounts.
3) CMC Markets - always a stable platform with very good charting systems. They probably have the best charts of the three. Used to be my number 1 choice but recently they underwent a revamp of their layout (you have 5 layouts to choose from) - but I find the new look somewhat lethargic for my taste. Very good forex margins.
