Ha.........this was bound to stir up the fundamental vs technical argument. I am a firm believer that those who combine the best of both (as I try to do.............doesn't seem to be too many) have the last laugh. Although somtimes you need to trust your technicals as the technical signal often occurs before the fundamentals become apparent.
As I have said many times before those who have held over-valued companies with awesome fundamentals making record profits the last year or so (CSL,COH,WES,RMD,..................) have had a lesson in why TA is a good pointer for exits.
I realise each camp think the other is mad but if you try and utilise the best of both you are on to a winner IMHO.
