I would speculate that Macquarie have called in his loan . They would hold a lien against his 400 odd million shares, the value of which is falling by the day. The collateralised debt ($10 million and compounding interest, say $4 or $5 million is growing by say $4000 per day?) Hopper probably still comes out ahead, if only marginally, but Imugene has been badly damaged by the massive shorts against the company to protect Macquarie's position. His ego will be being knocked around, but no where near as much as mine has, having allowed myself to be taken for a ride by Hopper over the last 10 years!
