I agree with your concerns but I am sure you can imagine it is one thing to want to be taking the ethical high-road in theory and quite another when dealing with such a position with all of life's pressures (i.e. are you really going to tell a partner you're not comfortable doing something when you are reliant on the job's salary to service the mortgage, put the kids through school, pay the bills etc etc and work in a job in a small industry where everyone talks to one another making it difficult to get a similar job in the industry elsewehere).
