To be honest, I actually have never looked at this. Having said that, you 100% own equity in the company, just haven't fully paid for it. Unlike options, where you don't own equity, just right to buy equity. Therefore, it is very likely you would start the cgt clock ticking the date you buy the partially paid shares.
