Some good comments on this and I'm about to head out for the day. China is the heaviest investor in renewables and nuclear energy. Will look up Finland later but know that China, India, Russia, amongst many other countries are being many reactors in the next 10-15 years (China ramping to one a month, 100 by 2030 I recall), thank goodness, while Germany is building more coal fired plants as it's cheaper than nuclear in subsidising their renewables push. In Australia???? Bear in mind the same UN panel that we believe on climate change is urging nuclear - renewables baseload is still too far away for comfort.
