Sorry if this has been posted before. Main gist of the article is to improve the efficiency of current lithium battery technology. How necessary this is depends on other things for example recharging infrastructure, but it is good to see that someone thinks that efficiency can be dramatically improved and still use lithium. I note the comments about sodium at the bottom of the article regarding cost, but the efficiency of lithium will work in its favour in the long run.
