We should know by now, it's all about the chemistry! What happens in the ponds is critical to the process - some new fangled machine aint be gonna doing that - not battery grade!

It is enevitable that new tech will emerge as it always does when there are opportunities created by demand and i can already think of at least 5 new tech lithium solutions that already 'exist'.

Pretty soon the salars will be littered with them.
