Small wealthy Asian nations should be in a great position to uptake electric cars. Singapore, Hong Kong (very small), Taiwan, Korea (larger)
- Short day-to-day commute
- Developed cities, add-on infrastructure should be less of an issue
- Small compact EVs like nissan leaf will be great for city driving
- No long 'road trips' in some of these countries at all.
However, I've heard that private EV ownership will have a long way to go in Singapore as the Govt needs to keep the oil refining industry alive.
