Well you need someone to invest the millions if not billions to make the battery factories, from memory I thought WA were moving towards this? Highly unlikely that AU will have an EV car marker although there is movement on that front with Gupta in Adelaide or Geelong. Shell are also in Adelaide making battery storage, which is a much more likely candidate. So whilst currently there is no usage that may well change in the future.
