Following today's discussion with Joe, I Imagine we are going to have a number of analysts, institutions, peers & retail holders running their eyes over our Lithium Chloride Project, in conjunction with our Monster 5.8Mt LCE Resource that is the Highest Grade Brine Project in Argentina today (I also suspect over the coming 6-12 months a number of copycat piggybacking Chloride Jnrs will emerge, but hey that is the nature of any new market)

I am re-posting my Lithium Chloride postings / data / information over the previous couple of months onto this thread so that new eyes can assess the value in Lithium Chloride and why Galan is choosing this pathway smile.png

Firstly a look at High Purity vs Battery Grade Carbonate Pricing over the previous 6 years

Conversion Factors for Lithium Chemicals / Metal into Lithium Chloride

Noting that 1 tonne of Lithium Carbonate equates to 1.14 tonnes of Lithium Chloride

Galan released its Metallurgical Test Results of its concentrated brine solution in early 2021. The results showed that following the evaporation pond treatment process, Galans High Grade, Low Impurity brine at Salar Del Hombre Muerto resulted in a Lithium Chloride Salt with a Lithium Concentration of 32% LCE which can be expressed as 36% Lithium Chloride or 13% Lithium Oxide Equivalent or 6% Lithium Metal Equivalent using the above conversion factors

As JP and Joe Lowry discussed in detail, the High Grade Low Impurity Brine gives Galan too many potential options (which is a good issue to have) biggrin.png

If the Company is capable of building enough evaporation ponds (following permitting and funding) to produce +75kt of Lithium Chloride at 36%

    Galan then has options

    1) Sell the 75kt of Chloride at 36% to any number of convertors or lithium carbonate producers
    2) Process the 75kt of Chloride into 25kt of Battery Grade Carbonate 99.5%
    3) Process the 75kt of Chloride into a higher purity ~27kt of 99% Chloride

Anyways, that is enough ramblings for 1 post

High Grade, Low Impurity Baby Elephant in the making
