Tencent-Backed Electric Car Start-up NIO Files for IPO with US public offering - to raise $2 BILLION dollars. Source: Bloomberg 29/5/2018.
It is of note that NIO is already producing and selling EVs, and can hardly be called a 'start-up.' Semantics aside, let's add another $2 billion to the trillion plus lithium/EV/battery space speculation.
Does this infernal news about EVs and lithium never stop coming? Not for another 20 years at least, or until it becomes mainstream, and becomes the norm - I would suggest
