I prefer a more direct route, by walking
Google maps suggests a little over 35 days, but with allowance for the necessary breaks, sleeping under the stars, diversions, medical attention (for various hazards) it should take a little over 2 months. I am a fast walker
When I finally do make it I would hate to be greeted with a similar fate to what happened to the Griswold's
