Love this move by Elon to go private and stop the SP manipulation through shorting or other practices by a few. Unless regulations change , other listed organisations being negatively impacted will rethink the pros & cons of remaining on public listings. As far as small retail investors are concerned, there is now no inducement and even great fear in investing in developing enterprises yet to become dividend paying larger blue-chips. There are alternatives to raising funds through public listing if the price is SP manipulation and investor confidence/interest. Trading regulations need rapid change if this situation is to be overcome.
