2017 China's car sales (buses and commercial vehicles not included) were circa 24.5 million units. Now imagine, given the news in my previous post (above) if 95% of 2019 Chinese car purchases are presumed to be electric. A generous presumption, given it would be a tall order for Chinese EV manufacturers and other multinational Chinese based EV producers to churn out >25 million EVs in a single year, but I've learnt never to underestimate China's ability to accomplish the impossible.
