new article from uk reports a survery of almost 1,000 showed 37% of drivers inireland who are looking for a new car are planning on buying a full electric or hybrid electric within a year or two. germany, norway, finland, netherlands, uk, france all have aggressive EV targets and are seeing rapid uptake by consumers, as does california of course.

everyday i ride my bike to work in london and i see electric cars and work vans plugged in around central and west london charging up. there are charging stations every few blocks and i would guess i see 2-3 actively charging and a dozen fully electric cars parked/ driving  on my 20minute ride, plus the majority of uber drivers are in hybrid priuses which means i see about 20 priuses at least. its interesting to see a few electric work vans appearing in the last 12mo.

is this moving as fast in sydney or slower?
