I was starting to give you some benefit of the doubt, but have decided you have no clue on lithium, even though you seek to sound as an expert. The problem with brine is it has too many impurities so that brine currently cannot compete in the higher end hydroxide market (and changes to production processes to compete there take time), but can compete in the lithium carbonate market. Now Greenbushes is a hard rock mine - currently supplies 30% - 40% of the tradeable lithium market - why can that be if it is a question of cost. Read this post from me and you might understand why - it is not just about cost here.
