I have recently heard and read, that near where I live two EV cars and one house with battery storage
have gone up gone up in flames.
All due the the lithium batteries.
The story, from people who own EVs, is not to park them in the garage.

In an advertisement for battery storage, for them to install the battery on the outside of the house.
This must be a worry for lithium holding shareholders as well as owner's of the above.

Where do you place your stop-loss point when it comes to your lithium holding shares ?
What is an alternative to lithium with a far better safety record ?

I delayed, for years, having battery storage for that reason, my hope was for vanadium but they never
moved to the house storage until I gave it all a miss.

I held AVL for years but this is one of the slowest get up and goes ever.
Plus they need nearly two billion dollars to reach production.
