Last I heard BYD was making a push into South Korea with their EVs also.
I remember years ago when I heard of the name Build Your Dreams I thought what a really lame name for an electric car company. Whilst I was all for electric cars I always thought in the back of my mind that this is the investment that Buffet regrets.
I like being wrong sometimes.
BYD battery wise are sticking with the polymer whilst China has been playing around with the subsidies for batteries that contain cobalt which generally are used in electric buses.
Not sure if you are aware that Tesla is looking to build an EV factory in China so their vehicles are rebate eligible.
