Lithium metal?

    I've been reading a bit about these new solid-state batteries that are being developed, apparently they use lithium metal instead of lithium carbonate. Does anyone know if the metal is able to be extracted from spodumene, or is it an entirely different prosess/feedstock? Just wondering about the implications for TAW and other hard rock producers
