Do you know how many £'s every year horse breeders generate? Even the King has horse breeders, he will have a vested interest to see that this "Automobile" fad will never take hold. Not to mention the Blacksmith society. Too many jobs at stake and very powerful Kings and even Earls will stop it in its tracks. Besides why would you spend all of that money on having to refill this automobile with distilled oil, when a horse can just eat grass for free! such nonsense.
